Physiotherapists help people who cannot move properly, or are suffering from pain or weakness when they try to move. Our goal as physiotherapists is to help you regain optimal, pain-free movement, using many different treatments.
Manual therapy techniques are specialized, hands-on skills that physiotherapists use to assess and treat movement dysfunction in the body. We use this manual therapy approach to thoroughly assess the movement and tension in your joints, muscles, fascia and nerves. We figure out where your stiffness and tension originate, then restore healthy, efficient movement patterns by using a variety of hands-on techniques, including mobilization and/or manipulation of your joints, various soft tissue (muscle) massage techniques, myofascial release, and nerve mobilizations.
